Shipping policy

Welcome to Mykonos. We take great pride in our handcrafted blue pottery and want to ensure your pieces arrive safely at your doorstep. Below are the details of our shipping process and policies.


1. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

We ship Australia-wide. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your order to ensure the most accurate pricing.

  • Free Shipping: We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $100 AUD within Australia.

2. Processing Times

  • Order Cut-off Time: Orders placed before 4:00 PM (AWST) will begin processing the same business day. Orders placed after this time will begin processing the following business day.

  • All orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

  • Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

  • During high-demand periods (like shop updates or Christmas), please allow for an additional 2 days for processing.

3. Fragile Item Packaging

Ceramics are delicate. To prevent breakage, we use a "safety-first" packaging method:

  • Each piece is wrapped in honey-comb eco-wrap or biodegradable bubble wrap.

  • We use double-walled boxes and eco-friendly void fill to prevent movement during transit.

  • Every box is clearly marked with "FRAGILE – POTTERY" stickers.

4. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your Australia Post or courier tracking number. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking link to become active.

5. Damaged or Lost Items

Under the Australian Consumer Law, we are responsible for ensuring your goods arrive in acceptable condition.

  • Damaged on Arrival: In the rare event of a breakage, please take a photo of the damaged item and the packaging immediately. Email us at mykonosbluepottery@outlook.com within 48 hours of delivery so we can arrange a replacement or refund.

  • Lost Packages: If your tracking hasn't updated for more than 10 business days, please contact us so we can open an investigation with the carrier.

6. Returns & "Change of Mind"

Please choose carefully as we do not generally offer refunds for "change of mind" once the pottery has been shipped, due to the high risk and cost of return transit for fragile ceramics.
